Kerrey and John chose a great venue in Skylark Golf and Country Club. A lovely barn for the ceremony followed by an intimate wedding breakfast in a room overlooking the course. There should be more weddings at golf courses. Any excuse to take the golf buggies out! I had such a great time shooting Kerrey and the family during her bridal preparation, I lost track of the day and was made to truly feel like another member of the family. Thanks guys. Here’s a few shots from the day.
I always think the guys get a bum deal when it comes to the big day. I mean photography wise, of course! The bridal preparation makes for some amazing shots but they guys can be a lot of fun too…which helps LOADS when you’re trying to capture the day. Here’s a few shots from Jodie and Ali’s wedding at Tithe Barn. I recommend the venue as one of the true greats of the area. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff can’t do enough to help. Queue photos. Chap heavy.
Marwell Zoo as a Wedding venue? Great idea. GREAT IDEA! You actually get time out from your day to go and feed the animals, whilst sat on the back of a golf buggy. So much fun…Which is pretty much how I could describe Stacey and Bruce. So much laughter, Iron Man Lego button holes, readings from Harry Potter, inflatable Giraffes, they knew how to have a relaxed fun day. Oh I nearly forgot the Scimitar Horned Oryx! How could I forget the Scimitar Horned Oryx?
June brought us the wedding of Abbey and Craig at the rather grand Tortworth Court in Gloucestershire. A grade 2 listed Victorian Mansion. Absolutely beautiful, inside and out, with amazing weather to top the day off. I spent the morning with the girls (and the Pepperami monster) capturing Abbey as she prepared for the ceremony. Craig is a fellow photographer, so the pressure really was on to deliver! Needless to say, shooting such a happy couple made for some really great shots. Thanks for having me there guys.
Every now and again, i’m asked to shoot a friends wedding. I don’t normally like this way of doing things, after all, i’d rather be a guest. That being said, I had the best of both worlds. No pressure, just shoot the day however I feel and come celebrate with them, in France. How could I refuse? Here’s a few shots from Dan and Natasha’s wedding.
