I’ll try to cover all your FAQ’s (frequently asked questions) but if there’s anything I’ve missed, please feel free to ask me directly.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE

I offer packages to suit most budgets, with packages from £300 to £1,200 or I can design a bespoke package just for you – please have a look at my package pricing for more info or please feel free to give me a call

WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER

Although I am a South Coast Wedding photographer, I also cover the whole of the UK and abroad for destination weddings.

HOW DO WE BOOK

The first thing to do is to check that I’m available on your wedding date. You can do this by using the contact page, phoning or dropping me an email where we can arrange a free consultation to discuss your requirements. If you like what you see the booking fee is half the amount of your package with the final balance due 14 days prior to your wedding. This is non-refundable and ensures your date is reserved.

HOW MANY IMAGES DO I GET

This depends on how many hours coverage you have, however I never put a limit on the number of images I shoot or provide. As a guide, a full day shoot would be between 400 – 500 images. This will be my choice of images that I think tells the story of your day. In addition to this, you will receive a second set of images that I don’t think made the cut, but may well mean more to you.

DO YOU TAKE GROUP PHOTOS

Yes definitely, provided this is what you want – if it is, all I ask is for you to provide a small list of the family / group photos that you want, I suggest a list of no more than around 15 different group photos, so we don’t take up too much time on your day – around 30 minutes is ideal.

CAN I PRINT MY PHOTOS

Yes, all of my packages include all your images on USB or cloud storage, at high resolution so you can print anything you want. The only thing I would recommend is to use a professional print lab to ensure accurate reproduction of your images.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER’S BAD

As a professional wedding photographer it is my job to adapt to any given situation including our unpredictable British weather. Bad weather also requires you to adapt as well – getting outside and getting a bit wet can make for some stunning images.

DO YOU HAVE BACK UP EQUIPMENT

Yes – this is very important – I carry back up camera bodies, lenses and lighting equipment so even if my equipment fails we can carry on shooting.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE

As a professional wedding photographer, I only use Nikon’s professional range of of full frame DSLR cameras and professional lenses. I also use a selection of lighting equipment to make sure you look your best.

DO I GET THE COPYRIGHT

No, I follow the standard practice of the copyright staying with me – the photographer. However you do get full printing rights to all of your images. So essentially you can use your images for anything other than for commercial purposes.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY IMAGES

All of your images are fully edited – colour / contrast correction, spot / mark removal, cropped and basically fine tuned – this usually takes around 4 to 6 weeks, however I may post a sneak peek on Facebook before this just to give you a little taster.

DO I NEED TO FEED MY PHOTOGRAPHER

Yes please! – As the only vendor that will be with you throughout your day its important for me to stay fed and hydrated so I have the energy to carry on capturing all your special moments. Ideally, seat me with your guests and make me part of the wedding. Your pictures will be better for it.
